PLANES, TRAINS AND BUSES

Dear friends. I have sorted through a large number of digital images to share a glimpse of our trip to Alaska from September 3-16, 2007. These pictures are dedicated to the many friends we made on Holland American Line (HAL) Tour 20. We hope you folks enjoy seeing these as much as Jeanne and I did. All pictures on this site are copyrighted but Tour 20 folks may copy them for personal use only if they wish. You may need to resize them for your computer, depending on resolution. You could also resize to get decent 3X5 or 4X6 prints. Lee used a Nikon D70 camera with 2 lenses – 18X70 zoom with a blue/yellow polarizer and 18X250 zoom. Some shots were in very low light or long distance and will be grainy in full screen. All images were taken on the trip. There are 8 picture segments. This set shows many of the modes of transportation we used, from a commercial airline view of mountains and glaciers to a canoe. BE SURE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FULL SCREEN VIEWS BY CLICKING ON ANY ONE IMAGE. (This really demonstrates the benefit if you look at the McKinley Explorer full screen.) You get back to the normal screen by using the “back arrow.” If you have a question, e-mail us at leezaborowski@yahoo.com.
