NEWPORT, OR, AND THE CAT RV CLUB RALLY

We spent 10 days at Pacific Shores RV Resort in Newport, where motorhomes from all over the US converged for the summer Caterpillar RV Club Rally. We had a mix of weather that would keep everyone happy. If you were tired of 100+ degree days it was cool, with temperatures in the 50-75 range. For coastal water buffs, fog in the morning. We might have preferred more afternoon sun . . . but saw essentially no day time rain. We are the Publications Managers for the Club. We enjoyed a great rally with friends, including lots of food and entertainment. The lighthouse was clearly visible though the windshield of our coach . . . when it wasn't foggy.
